  1. Hi Autumn! I saw that you posted on my blog so I wanted to jump over to yours and say "hello"! Reid is now 11 months old (I'm crazy busy planning his first birthday party) but in those pictures I posted he was 9-10 months. I plan to post more soon! Let me first say...I know you are terrified. I found out Reid would be born with skeletal dysplasia after having my routine 36 week ultrasound. His femur measured short and they too thought he may have downs. It wasn't until we had the level 2 ultrasound they told us he would be born with a form of skeletal dysplasia. I actually didn't even know what that was until I got home and googled. I was in such a dark place for the rest of the pregnancy. I was never told achondroplasia. I never knew what type Reid would have and if he would even live after birth. Now, I come home everyday from work to a smiling happy baby. :) I'm not going to lie, I worry about him all the time and I'm not sure if that will ever go away for me. I love my baby boy with everything I am but if I could, I would take this away for him. He has changed me in so many ways. It's wonderful to know that I will never view the world the same way. I get to see people for who they truly are without judgement and that is amazing. I know exactly what you are going through. You can contact me anytime.
    :) Jennifer
